Horns of Ammon
2026
A reimagining of the deity Ammon, also known as Amun, “the hidden one,” shown lovingly holding a living ammonite.
Once thought to be the horns of a god, ammonite fossils were known for their resemblance to sacred ram horns, which carry meaning across Egyptian and Greek traditions. Before humans knew what they really were, the fossils reinforced a sense of divine presence in the material world.
What happens to imagination and myth-making in an age where we have instant access to information?
I wonder what the myths of the future will look like, and I find myself craving the unknown more and more.
